Fitness Is Not The Same For Everybody -
For both men and woman, fitness is often confused with the terms
'bodybuilding' or 'weightlifting'. Being on a fitness program does not mean you must workout like a
bodybuilder or lift weights (and do the machines) for 90 minutes
every day. Yes - strength/resistance workouts & exercises should be a part
of your fitness program but the volume and methods you use do not
have to be as intense, time consuming or as complicated as what
most people think. See, this is one of those big mis-perceptions of fitness as it
applies to the general public. Being strong, lean and 'well-toned'
does not mean you want to be abnormally muscular with veins
popping out of your forehead. So, this would also mean you should not have to work out like a
bodybuilder or power lifter. Now don't get me wrong, there are many
valuable principles and concepts that can be successfully be used
in a fitness program for the real world, for people with real
lives. As a matter of fact some of these principles are the basis of the
'secrets' I use to teach everyday people how to achieve incredible
fitness success of the body, mind and spirit. I will reveal some of these 'secrets' in future 'Tips of the Week'.
